Self Defense & Personal Safety Workshop
Children ages 4 to 12 and their parents can attend a two-day workshop to learn some physical self-defense and how to prevent unwanted touching, teasing and name-calling. Part I, which is for parents only, is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. February 3. Part II, which is for parents and their children, is scheduled for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. February 4. The program is hosted by the DC Self Defense Karate Association with the goal of empowering children to escape from emergency situations as quickly as possible. The Washington Auto Show Escape the cold weather for a day by heading indoors with your child—to The Washington Auto Show!
