Potomac Lighthouse Charter School serves students in grades PreK through 5. One grade will be added per year to ultimately serve PreK through 12th grade. The mission is to prepare students for college through a rigorous arts-infused program.
What Makes Us Different?
- Arts-Infusion: Infusion of the arts into the curriculum by teachers, specialists and community arts partners.
- College Preparation: Raising awareness and focusing on preparation for college starting in Kindergarten.
- Looping: Students stay with the same teacher for two years.
- Small School: Current enrollment is 243 students in grades PreK through 5.
- More Time on Instruction: Longer school year (190 days) & school day (8:00 to 4:00).
- Free transportation and After School Care available until 6:00 pm.
- After school clubs.
