Who We Are

Ride antique trolleys from the United States, Canada and Europe and discover the history of Washington's streetcar history. The Museum offers a unique look at how streetcars shaped the growth and development of the Nation's Capital and surrounding communities. Special programs are available for school groups, and you can celebrate your birthday or special event in our party room.

What Others Say

It was a rainy Sunday, so we decided to explore a local museum. This was really nice! They had a nice diorama and some silent movies featuring trolleys as well as a lot of information about the routes the trolleys took in that era. Even more fun were a great diorama, a hall full of trolley cars and taking the actual trolley ride.
